CIVIL MEDIATION SERVICE

Helping to bring respective points of view to a compromise using Principle Centred Negotiation.
Mediation is a non-adversarial and usually confidential negotiation process in which people with a dispute work with an impartial mediator to seek a mutually agreeable solution to a problem.

The Civil Mediation process is designed to give parties an opportunity to explore settlement options before they invest large amounts of money and other resources into litigation. Take 2 Mediation provides a mediation process that saves you time, money, and stress.

Mediation is generally less costly than conducting a negotiation through lawyers. First of all, two parties are sharing one mediator’s fee. Secondly, mediation hourly rates are often lower than the rates of lawyers with comparable years’ experience. And the mediation process is often a faster one because the parties are focusing on solving problems rather than building a case against each other. Introductory, individual meetings with parties in family mediation cases are charged at a flat rate of one hour’s time, although the meeting usually lasts one and half hours.

There is no charge for introductory telephone calls or for brief telephone calls, brief e-mails, or scheduling appointments during the mediation process. Fees for drafting documents are negotiated at the time of drafting and will vary depending on the length and complexity of the document.

Fees for Service
